Queen Elizabeth II is ‘related to Prophet Muhammad’ according to historians in shocking claims originally shared by Burke’s Peerage, a British authority on royal genealogy, but have recently been resurfaced in a Moroccan newspaper. The Al-Ousboue claims the Queen’s bloodline runs through the Earl of Cambridge in the 14th century and across medieval Muslim Spain to the Prophet’s daughter Fatima, making her a cousin of the kings of Morocco and Jordan as well as Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader. The grand mufti of Egypt Ali Gomaa verified the genealogical record before which apparently links the two.
