August 17, 2019 FAA Acting Administrator Dan Elwell apologizes on behalf of the entire agency for the Boeing 737 MAX jet crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia. He outlines the safety actions being taken by the FAA and states, “In the U.S., the 737 MAX will return to service only when the FAA’s analysis of the facts and technical data indicate that it’s safe to do so.” Full video here:
